Over the past few weeks, the children in Second Class have been taking part in Múin an Múinteoir, where they had the opportunity to become the teacher for a while! Each child prepared and delivered a short presentation on a topic of their choice to the class.
The children put a huge amount of effort into researching their topics and creating engaging presentations. They spoke confidently, shared lots of interesting facts, and answered questions from their classmates with great enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow with each presentation, and everyone showed excellent listening skills and respect for one another.
We are incredibly proud of all the children for the hard work, creativity and courage they demonstrated. Maith sibh, a pháistí!
Athletics
Second Class also had the opportunity to represent our school at two fantastic athletics events this term: the City Sports Competition and the Christy Kennedy Athletics Competition. The children participated with great enthusiasm, determination and excellent sportsmanship, making us all incredibly proud. They represented the school brilliantly throughout both events. Well done to everyone involved!
