I bet you all notice at home how tired we are today! It’s because we had the best fun ever on our school tour to Wildlands.
We were the luckiest class because we got to spread out on the two busses so we could sit with the other Juniors and Seniors as we pleased!
When we were there, we split up into different groups too, and we enjoyed mixing with the other kids in our school.
We had LOTS of fun running through the woodland area, finding branches of all kinds to make a shelter, and toasting marshmallows by the fire. Being outdoors and free made us all very happy.
We had the chance to eat our food under a canopy at picnic benches, and to play at the playground too.
We learned how to throw Frisbee and play Disc Golf, but of course, our FAVOURITE thing to do was to spend an hour jumping around in the Net Tower!
The journey felt long for some of us, but everyone loved being on a bus. It really felt like an adventure! Us seniors sang a bit on the way home, and we all loved looking out the window and spotting places we knew, like our old house or old school, where our parents work now or did in the past, hospitals we know people can go to if they need help and we even saw the big Garda station. The view from up high was cool!
We had a super day! Thanks to all our Mammies and Daddies for getting us ready and organised- and like we said to the bus driver, “Go Raibh Maith Agat”
