We recently took part in an exciting coding workshop with a facilitator from University of Galway. During the workshop, we learned the basics of coding using Scratch, which made programming fun and easy to understand.
The facilitator showed us how to create projects using sprites, actions, and transitions. We learned how sprites can move, talk, and interact with each other by using different coding blocks. It was very interesting to see how simple commands could make animations and games come to life.
We also explored how to add actions to our sprites, such as jumping, moving, and changing colours. Another exciting part was learning about transitions, which helped make our projects smoother and more creative.
The workshop was both educational and enjoyable. It helped us develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork. Everyone had the chance to experiment with their own ideas and create unique projects.
