In Senior Infants this month, we have been learning all about space. We read a story about outer space and learned about the sun, the stars, the moon and the planets. We watched a video of Neil Armstrong taking the first steps on the moon. The children also dramatised what it might be like to land on the moon and what they might see. In Science, the children designed and built their own rockets and had great fun blasting them off. We rounded off our space learning by enjoying a rocket-shaped ice pop in the sunshine!
