We were very lucky to be invited to a Teddy Bears’ Picnic today in Killeeneen School. We met the Senior Infants from four other local schools. Pat, the bus driver, brought us to and from Killeeneen.
We started the day with a teddy bear parade and some songs. Then we enjoyed tasty treats, including juice, popcorn, and jellies. After eating, we had a fun disco.
We were allowed to play indoors and outdoors. Outside, we could go to the soccer pitch or the sandpit. There were lots of toys indoors, including Lego, dolls, action figures, and Polydrons.
We had a great day and really enjoyed meeting new friends
