For many of us, it is our first St Patrick’s Day in Craughwell NS. We did not know what to expect. Teacher told us all to wear green and to use as much Gaeilge as we could for the whole week!
We did some lovely colouring activities and enjoyed listening to Irish trad and folk music, which we do every Tuesday usually.
We all got to parade around the Halla, marching to more trad music, with the other infants of the school. We then watched the big kids do some fashion show skits, dancing and the school band perform. It was a lovely sneak preview before the Craughwell Parade on Tuesday.
